🍜 FOOD STOPS INCLUDE
- Bun Cha (grilled pork served in a warm. Sweet & sour fish sauce dipping broth with rice vermicelli & fresh herbs). This is the dish formal President Obama enjoyed for dinner during his visit to Vietnam in 2016.
- Banh Mi – a most popular Vietnamese sandwich that combines a scrip, airy bagguete with savory meats, fresh herbs, and pickled vegetables, creating a “fast food” that reflects French colonial influence
- Banh Cuon ( Vietnamese steamed rice rolls) – a popular Vietnamese dish featuring thin, delicate, steamed fermented rice batter sheets filled with savory minced pork and wood ear mushrooms.
- Egg coffee – a rich Vietnamese specialty, originating in Hanoi in 1946, that blends robust, dark-roasted coffee with a thick, creamy custard-like topping made from whipped egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk
